She could feel pride flood her, and she wasn't sure if it was hers or his. What a wonderful feeling! But she was take time to enjoy it later, for the time being, she had a task at hand.

She gave him a short nod to acknowledge the encouragement. She would try a different shape this time, a spike ball like he suggested. Her concentration peaked. This was fairly easy for her to do, when she felt in sync with him. Briefly she wondered if it would be the same if it was a different person.

Her hand lifted slightly and she shot a spiked ball through the spark. This time it was green capturing a bluish colored spark. It thudded aganist the wood of the bridge and fell to the ground, all without breaking or cracking. She exhaled slowly again, relaxing a little more. She didn't open her eyes this time either...instead she waited for another spark.

Again, it wasn't so much that she could see them, but feel them. The heat that radiated from him, whether from the sparks or maybe just from him, kept her comfortable. One more though...just one more time she told herself...

His pride began to sky rocket. She caught on fast. Never needed to hear direction twice. "Good, good You got the hang of it." His voice cracked in happy chuckles. This was more fun then he expected. When the solid ice ball fell. He exhaled once more and shook his hand some. The burning sensation was beginning to overtake his entire palm. He could only imagine what color his skin was.

Lips falling into a frown. It was a good thing he had no one to write to. No classes he was forced to attend. In fact he was rarely ever learning anything. This entire area had just kind of turned into home. His lips curled into a genuine smile as he began to focus once more. It was a lot different than continuous sparks. This left spots of average colored flesh. Which meant that the burning sensation could return.

He stepped back for a moment. He hadn't focused that hard. Perhaps, he simply lacked the discipline. His eyes opened slightly more. The sparks dancing like wild beasts within the electric blue orbs. "This is our last try for the night, Angelica~san." How was he able to speak so calmly. His body burned. He could feel the static rushing through his blood. One last tiny swarm of lightning sparks filled the air around his palm, and then began to float out a slight bit.

She shook with his laughter, breaking her concentration a little. If this were a serious matter, where they were facing a common foe then it would be much easier to keep focused. But the laughter brought a deep smile to her face, her head tilted.

She refocused her attentions, concentrating harder this time. Maybe she could do another shape! This time she would use a tear drop shape. In her head, she pictured shooting through the spark, capturing it in a tear drop shaped piece of ice. It would be lovely if she could get the effect correct.

"Okay Kouichi-san." she said easily, more relaxed than ever now. "" she opened her eyes just as the tear drop shape captured a spark, making it appear diamond like. She made it especially thick to make sure that when it clattered to the ground, it wouldn't break in half.

Her eyes widened and she turned around to look at him with bright crystal eyes. "That was so much fun! We have to do it again and show Mikel the progress!" she told him excitedly. She clapped her hands together, laughing when it didn't sound, because the sleeves of his jacket were too long for her. It only made her smile brighter though.

Her success made his smile brighter. Yet when she spun to face him, he swiftly his his right hand behind his back. "Yes, yes. We will show him." Even he had to admit, the cool air was soothing to his palm. "Perhaps next time he could join us. We could always use someone to catch the ice." Already he pictured twisted ice shapes they could make. It made him smirk. Fun pointy objects. Still he shook his head and dismissed the thoughts.

"Is he such a nice man, that Mikel?" He began to walk towards the sword. "Are all girls from America so easily trusting? It wasn't that he was suspicious of Mikel. More he was skeptical of trusting the scent of blood. Still, Angelica had to have a good reason for trusting him.

"It doesn't matter I suppose. Let's call it a night. Go get some rest." Turning to look down at the water. He sighed some. "Good night Angelica-san. Get some rest." His left leg lifted and rested the bottom of his sandal on the bridge railing. Then he hopped up with his right foot. "Until next time. Maybe Mikel could join us."

She couldn't help but smile that silly smile that her friends always brought out from her. And since Kouichi seemed to be her newest friend, it was an especially bright one. That he was so willing to show Mikel with her made her happy. When she'd left Nana's house, alone and isolated she'd never thought she'd have such amazing friends.

"Mikel is good and sweet." she told him, laughing. "'s not that I'm too trusting...I just like to think that I'm a good judge of character." she said, a little more timidly. Why would he question her trusting friendship with Mikel?

Just because he was a Vampire? Anger rushed through her, but after inhaling deeply, she let it go. No use in getting upset with her new friend just because of his opinion. He was entitled to it, afterall.

She watched him leave, smiling and waving. "See you soon Kouichi!" she smiled, and made her way back down to the bank of the stream, playing in the water.
